AdWatch: Jeep | Groundhog Day – #StayOffTheRoad
What does a brand do when it’s difficult to develop new creative during a global pandemic? It repurposes a successful campaign that people love(d) and make it new again. Jeep’s Groundhog Day spot, which originally aired during the 2020 Super Bowl was reimagined for the stay-at-home movement. The brand also used #StayOfftheRoad to help identify the effort. Props go to Bill Murray for reliving the same day over and over again. Before the COVID-19 crisis began, we used to imagine what that would be like. Now we know.
