GM PLUGS DIRECTLY INTO 2021 WITH A NEW LOGO AND MARKETING CAMPAIGN

GM, or gm, is known around the world as General Motors, a company that started started out as a manufacturer of horse-drawn vehicles. The brand’s new marketing campaign takes a giant leap forward as the manufacturer embarks on an electrically charged mission to rid the world of crashes, emissions and congestion. According to Deborah Wahl, GM global chief marketing officer, “There are moments in history when everything changes. Inflection points. We believe such a point is upon us for the mass adoption of electric vehicles.”

How about that new logo? The lowercase “gm” is strikingly similar, while simultaneously being worlds apart from the original all-caps “GM” logo. The simplicity of the change is undeniably geared for the direction the company is going, and it seems to fit perfectly with its “Everybody In” marketing campaign.
