Gap Greets Us With Holiday Optimism

After taking down the last of the Halloween decorations, it is time to breathe easy. Just kidding, now it’s time for the holiday season! Gap is a big fan of the season of giving, so they decided to celebrate with a new campaign featuring Katy Perry. Their new brand effort is titled “ALL TOGETHER NOW”, and showcases the importance of togetherness and acceptance.

The ad is all about simple joy and love between different people, all to the tune of Katy Perry’s cover of “All you Need is Love”. This spot is only the first step, as Gap plans to make good on the theme of kindness. For every time someone listens to Perry’s cover on Spotify, Gap plans to donate $1 to a children’s charity. Brand efforts like these are ideal for improving public perception of a company, as we all appreciate when they take the time to improve the world around them. It’s just the thing we need as we near the end of the year.
