KFC Presses Pause on Iconic Slogan… for Now

KFC’s It’s Finger Lickin’ Good motto has been around since 1956. In an effort to recognize the global pandemic, the fast food chain’s advertising confesses that the slogan might be a tad tasteless for the time being. That’s why KFC has announced the slogan will be put on pause until further notice. Sure, it’s meant as light-hearted fun, but it’s also apt advice, since this isn’t the best time to be licking your fingers. Fear not though, KFC is still going to provide Finger Lickin’ Good food and service and when the time is right, the slogan will return!
