Rising Brand Casper Makes Dreamery a Reality in NYC
The Casper brand is buzzing like an alarm clock these days. Though only four years old, Casper has grown by leaps and bounds in that time. The online mattress retailer has scored high points with sleepers for its innovative products that come delivered in amazingly tight packages, can be tested out for 100 nights, and returned at no charge. Target (which is also an investor in Casper) has begun selling the mattresses, and Casper recently announced plans to open 200 retail stores by 2020.
But that’s not even the most interesting thing the brand has done lately. That would be Casper’s recent opening of The Dreamery in New York City—a physical space where tired individuals can book 45-minute nap sessions for $25 a pop. The Dreamery includes a lounge, complimentary pajamas and beverages, and private “pods” for napping (on a Casper mattress, of course). In case it wasn’t clear already, this unusual undertaking positions Casper as a brand that’s not afraid to dream big.
