A Blue’s Clues Reunion

A Blue’s Clues Reunion

The host of the kids’ show Blue’s Clues recently starred in a Twitter video, explaining his 2002 departure and reconnecting with his grown-up audience. Millions flocked to his heartwarming video and many social media outlets saw an outpouring of appreciation.

For a generation who grew up watching Steve Burns on Blue’s Clues, it was like seeing an old friend again. It is a marvel to see an ad for a children’s show resonate with adults on such a large scale. A mixture of nostalgia and wholesome love for the audience makes this brand effort incredibly effective and a great ad for the recently rebooted Blue’s Clues series. Now I need a tissue, because I’m still a little teary-eyed.
