Vans Creates a New Skatepark… In Roblox

Vans is a popular sneaker lifestyle brand who recently built a brand new skatepark for anyone to use. There’s only one catch—the skatepark is in Roblox. Roblox is one of the largest world-building games, raking in approximately 43 million players per day. As a sandbox for players to create freely, it makes for an ideal marketing platform.

For Vans, it is an avenue to introduce a younger audience to the expressive sport of skateboarding. The virtual park allows for players to experiment and try out Vans apparel while being  safely at home. The question is—will I finally be able to perfect that kickflip I could never do as a kid?
