The Newest Olympic Sport – Dino Racing

Nothing motivates a competitor to give it their all quite like a prehistoric predator nipping at their heels. The very first ad for the upcoming movie “Jurassic World: Dominion” demonstrates a partnership with the 2022 Winter Olympics. The spot features Olympic athlete Mikaela Shiffrin skiing down a hill until she realizes that she has company. A velociraptor and tyrannosaurus rex seem to have made that same hill their home!

It seems NBC is wisely leveraging their large library of heavy-hitter brands to empower their young streaming service. Since the Olympics and Jurassic World properties fall under the umbrella of NBCUniversial, combining their power has the potential to expand their reach and attract a wave of new users to Peacock. The only question we have is—can the winter athletes evade the giant carnivorous creatures until they have a chance to compete!
