Miller Lite Hosts Their Own Super Bowl Party

What do you do when you’re not allowed into the biggest party in town? Host your own! Miller Lite has been unable to air ads during the Super Bowl since 2010, when Anheuser-Busch InBev became the exclusive alcohol sponsor of the NFL. As one of the biggest marketing events of the year, especially for alcohol brands, the Super Bowl is a hard thing for Miller Lite to miss. That is why this year the beer company found a workaround so that it can participate in the game—kind of. Join Miller Lite’s Super Bowl party in the metaverse.

Miller Lite’s virtual bar experience for the Big Game is a place the brand can become the center of attention. The event will be hosted in Decentraland, a big platform in the metaverse and a strong partner for brands. This allows Miller Lite to capitalize on the branding event while dipping their toes in a new marketing medium.
