Budweiser Issues Cease And Desist
Budweiser recently sent a town crier to a microbrewery in Minnesota, in an attempt to bring a serious message of cease and desist a much more light-hearted tone.
As the video shows below, the message was very whimsical and left the crowd cheering as opposed to being angry and bitter. That’s a brand point for Budweiser, who was trying to divert the local brewery from using the nonsensical Dilly Dilly phrase, trademarked by Budweiser’s Bud Light series of ads.
