Budweiser Knows Whassup in their Recent PSA

You might remember the iconic “whassup” commercials that took over television sets over twenty years ago—they’re back!
According to their press release, “Budweiser unveiled a contemporary and timely version of its iconic “whassup” commercial as a reminder for America to prioritize check-ins with loved ones as the country endures unprecedented social isolation to combat COVID-19.” 
The new ads premiered last week and is part of a PSA series from the brand to help people realize they’re not alone. Budweiser is partnering with The Salvation Army and their nationwide hotline to listen to those who are experiencing fear and uncertainty during the pandemic. 
We think this is another fantastic effort from a global brand who knows whassup, and is using its clout to help people through this traumatic time.
