Casetify Phone Case Durability Tested by Rube Goldberg Machine
Durability is an important factor when it comes to phone cases, though the feature can be hard to show off by itself. That is why, when it comes to phones and cars and any product trying to demonstrate durability, advertisements will often feature extreme scenarios in which the product survives. This is best exemplified in Casetify’s newest ad, featuring an elaborate Rube Goldberg machine meant to destroy a phone instead of pressing the snooze button.
Casetify’s ad partners with YouTube creator Joseph’s Machines to build this elaborate machine that involves flinging rocks, swinging hammers, and tossing the phone out of a second-story window onto pavement. The over-the-top nature of the ad does a wonderful job of injecting comedy into their demonstration. Best of all, the entire machine is built with parts you could find in your own home, so anybody could try it! Just make sure that your case is up to the task because these machines are no joke.
