Heinz Takes the Lead on a Hot Dog Revolution

Heinz Takes the Lead on a Hot Dog Revolution

Picture it – you’re preparing a cookout for friends and family. You grill up some hot dogs, but then realize that you have two extra dogs with no bun to their name. That is because hot dogs come in packs of 10 whereas buns come in packs of 8. This has been a source of pain for decades, and no one has done anything about it—until now. Heinz has launched a campaign that calls on the big name bun and hot dog companies to carry the same sized packaging. Heinz clearly doesn’t make either of these products. So instead of making any changes to their own products, the company has made themselves the face of change that people have wanted for years. And honestly, it’s an amazing idea. We would love nothing more than to put those extra two hot dogs to good use.
