Hotels.com Mascot Captain Obvious Encourages us to “Practice Safe Booking”

Captain Obvious, of Hotels.com fame, has traveled back to the 1990’s to teach us how to “Practice Safe Booking”. In the spirit of the 90’s the Captain is dressed up in a multicolored jumpsuit, and dances along to his very own sitcom intro. Each ad riffs off of Sex Ed PSA’s, in which the mascot explains different services on the site through winks and double entendres. These ads are an example of a clever way to help viewers remember the product by connecting each service to a joke they might share with friends. Now, we can all thank Captain Obvious for providing us with protection as we practice safe booking!
