This IHOP Rebrand has Smiles for Miles

IHOP is always looking for ways to reinvent itself. IHOB set the world ablaze, and now it is time for another brand refresh. This one maintains the name, but carries a new motto. Their recent campaign is called “Let’s Put a Smile on Your Plate” and focuses on the joy that food and togetherness can bring people. 

“Let’s Put a Smile on Your Plate” centers around both the red smile that can be seen on the logo and the smiling pancakes the restaurant is known for. IHOP decided to put a smile on the face of its fans by introducing the Bank of Pancake, a rewards program that can put free food on your happy plate. This brand refresh and marketing campaign decides to focus on the core menu of IHOP and their dining experience, hoping to give back to every loyal customer.
