ITV’s 16-bit Video Game Pits Drama VS Reality
ITV Hub, the service that brought us both Downton Abbey and Love Island, has found that reality TV and dramatic programs cannot live in peace. The only option is war. This conflict began in TV spots, but has spilled onto the computer screen. With the Reality VS Drama 16-bit fighting game, you can select one of 6 characters and partake in the beatdown.
The game taps on nostalgia with its retro graphics and encourages further engagement with ITV by displaying a wide array of settings and characters from the network. It even rewards loyal fans by filling the background of each stage with references to their respective show. I would speak more on the game, but I must go and perfect my Kem Cetinay combos before the office tournament.
