London Crawling: The Walking Dead 100
On the morning of October 23rd, London pedestrians were shocked when a gross group of groaning figures suddenly poured out of a jetty on the River Thames. In a matter of minutes, the confused commuters found themselves completely surrounded by an army of 100 zombies!
Was this the beginning of a viral epidemic of the undead?
Not quite… in celebration of The Walking Dead’s 100th episode, this massive PR event was put together to honor the wildly popular television show’s Season 8 premiere. Participants endured hours of prosthetic make-up and were doused in buckets of fake blood to give them that “not-so-fresh” dead look. This was definitely a marketing stunt that onlookers will not soon forget.
