As Halloween draws near, our screens are filled with paranormal terrors and psychopaths. Two of cinema’s most iconic killers, Michael Myers and Chucky, are celebrating the season together. In an ad for the new Chucky series and the most recent installment to the Halloween franchise, ‘Halloween Kills’, we find the evil doll doing what he does best—stabbing and maniacally laughing. Ironically,   he’s stabbing a pumpkin instead of a person. His frantic slashing reveals an impressively detailed image of Michael Myers, who makes an appearance and transitions the spot to promote his movie

The ad capitalizes on the hunger for horror crossovers. From Freddy VS Jason to Alien VS Predator, if two villains are on screen then the audience is happy. Now that Michael Myers and Chucky have stood side-by-side, all that remains is the wait for an inevitable  feature-length film with Chucky riding happily on Myers’ shoulders.
