Planters Brings Back Lost Spherical Snack
In 2006, an American treasure went missing—it’s bright orange dust and airy crunch never to be seen or heard from again… until now! On July 1, Planters Cheez Balls (that’s cheese with a “z”) will be bouncing back into select stores for the first time in 12 years for a limited run. The triumphant return of the beloved balls in a cylindrical container was driven entirely by repeated requests from sad snackers.
Planters Head of Brand Building Melanie Huet said:
“We heard many impassioned pleas for us to bring Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls back over the years and we wanted to give our fans a chance to reunite with their most-missed cheesy snack.”
But Mr. Peanut might have put it better, simply stating: “You craved. I listened.”
