Taco Bell takes their Wedding Services to the Metaverse

Taco Bell takes their Wedding Services to the Metaverse

Okay, you may have some questions. Taco Bell has wedding services? Taco Bell is hosting said wedding services in the metaverse? Well, yes and yes. Let us explain.

Experiential branding has long been a tenet of Taco Bell’s marketing strategy, and this has led to some novel marketing activations. From creating a Taco hotel to buying the Liberty Bell (not actually), the brand has had a habit of making headlines. In 2017 they took aim at the tradition of impromptu weddings in Las Vegas and thought that they should join in the celebrations. Since then, the Taco Bell Chapel has married almost 800 couples. They even created a blog page for some of their most notable weddings.

Taco Bell decided to expand their matrimonial services to one lucky couple from beyond the borders of Las Vegas. To enter, couples merely needed to submit a video to the brand explaining their love story. The winners will have the chance to host the most bombastic, virtual taco-filled wedding in history.

Now that you understand the history of Taco Bell weddings, go and ponder life’s important questions. Questions like; “Did my wedding have enough tacos?”
