The Fever for the Flavor of the Pringles
The Pringles mascot, named Mr. P, recently garnered some attention after John Oliver (the host of Last Week Tonight on HBO) made some inquiries about the mascot’s physical body. That led Pringles to respond and donate $10K to charity. Around the same time, Pringles also unveiled an updated and simpler look to its mascot. What’s amazing is how many people seem to be irate over the change in Mr. P’s appearance. This seems to be all a part of a feverish branding effort, leading up to a flavorful Super Bowl commercial.
