The RCFP Erases the News to Save the News
The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press (RCFP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting reporters’ rights and freedom of speech. No matter how much you pay attention to the news, it’s still pertinent to your everyday life. Living in a world without the ability to obtain the news would create chaos. The RCFP explains this in their ad, “Protect Your Right to Know.” The commercial presents a powerful message of what the world could be like without the first amendment and prompts citizens to visit their website and support their mission.
