  5. Marcel the Shell with Shoes On – A live-action/stop motion-animation follows an anthropomorphic shell named Marcel.
  6. The Black Phone – A thriller about a kidnapped boy trapped in a basement who realizes he can communicate with his captor’s previous victims.
 
JULY
  1. Minions: The Rise of Gru – Despicable Me’s henchmen work for a young mastermind.
  2. Thor: Love and Thunder – Thor wants to retire but a new threat won’t let him.
  3. Where the Crawdads Sing – A self-raised girl from the marshlands of North Carolina becomes a suspect in a murder case.
  4. Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank – This animated adventure tells the story of a down-on-his-luck dog who trains to become a fearsome samurai to protect his village of cats — who all hate dogs, by the way — from a ruthless villain.
  5. Bed Rest – A pregnant woman is put on mandatory bed rest and begins to witness supernatural events in her home.
  6. Nope – A California horse ranch experiences mysterious forces.
  7. DC League of Super-Pets – An animated movie about Superman, Batman, and the pets of DC heroes.
  8. Vengeance – A comedic thriller about a NYC journalist who investigates the mysterious death of his girlfriend.
 
AUGUST
  1. Bullet Train – This action comedy stars Brad Pitt as an assassin looking to retire who is tasked with a final job aboard a bullet train that turns out to be more complicated than he expected.
  2. Easter Sunday – This comedy stars comedian Jo Koy, who plays a fictionalized version of himself as he attends a family Easter celebration.
  3. Bodies Bodies Bodies – A group of friends gather for a house party and play a murder mystery game.
  4. Secret Headquarters – A young boy suspects his father is a superhero after he discovers a hideout in his basement, but must defend it with his friends when villains attack.
  5. The Man From Toronto – This crime comedy caper stars Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson as a “screw-up” and a dangerous assassin.
  6. Beast – A man visits a game reserve in South Africa with his daughters.
  7. Fear – A group of friends gather at a remote getaway but discover its dark history.
  8. Samaritan – Sylvester Stallone stars in this superhero film about a young boy who discovers a famous hero thought to be dead.
  9. Three Thousand Years of Longing – An epic romantic fantasy about a woman who encounters a djinn who offers her three wishes in exchange for his freedom.
 
SEPTEMBER (LABOR DAY WEEKEND)
  1. Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul. – A husband and wife must rebuild their congregation and reconcile their faith by all means necessary.
