Beyond Meat’s Ad Asks WHAT IF
Holy Hamburger! Beyond Meat’s first broadcast TV ad just aired! Debuting earlier this week during a Lakers v. Jazz game, the ad featured Oscar winning-actress Octavia Spencer and NFL All-Pro Todd Gurley endorsing Beyond’s mission for healthier, environmentally-conscious food by asking a series of ‘what ifs’ — like making friends with a cow on a beach. The questions were thought provoking, but by ad’s end, one wondered if they needed to be asked at all. Change is here and the proof is in the numbers!
Beyond’s grocery sales nearly tripled last quarter and in addition to stocking retail stores like Kroger, Walmart and Costco, chain restaurants’ Dunkin’ Donuts, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s have also gone Beyond, which means the question is not if we will join, but when we will join.
