Mayhem Makes His Chaotic Return to Allstate

Anyone familiar with Allstate has met Mayhem—the chaotic force of nature that simply can’t help but cause catastrophe everywhere he goes. Played with a snarky arrogance by Dean Winters, he is the mischievous side of the insurance company’s television marketing. The crazed spokesperson hasn’t been seen in ads since June 2020, depriving the world of his twisted humor. 

A new batch of ads starring Allstate’s favorite PSA for how-not-to-live-life aired in the new year, and they are hot on the trends. The most notable of the spots showcases Mayhem riding his favorite exercise bike before crashing out of a window. There is no brand marked on the bike, but it is clearly a reference to the recent Peloton controversy. Utilizing current events provides another level of interest for Allstate marketing, so buckle up humans, Mayhem is back and he is here to stay.
