Apple May Provide Early Release Movies

If you’ve been wanting to get access to Hollywood movies faster, you may not have to wait much longer. Apple is reportedly in talks with movie studios to offer $50 rentals approximately 17 days after their theatrical debut. While it may seem like a pricey alternative to waiting the typical 4-6 weeks, moviegoers might choose to stay home and watch their favorite flicks for much less than they can in a theater. The question remains, how will this affect movie theaters and their bottom line?
