2020 is promising for AT&T as it finalizes its incorporation of Time Warner. This will give it a bump in revenue and substantial long-term growth opportunities, with new content services and digital advertising income. That alone won’t send AT&T over the top, but their investment in edge computing will. Today’s apps are high octane and power starved, which can slow things down-making the need for more efficient computation necessary. According to Josh Goodell, Vice President of Intelligent Edge at AT&T, “Edge-to-Edge intelligence is poised to help make this computation possible, and make seamless user experiences a reality,” – That’s what makes AT&T a brand to watch in 2020 and beyond.
