House of Marley Moves to the Beat of a Greener World

House of Marley Moves to the Beat of a Greener World

Bob Marley was one of 20th Century’s greatest icons. In music, he was a genius. In activism, he blazed. House of Marley, named in honor of the Rastafarian reggae idol, looks to combine both with an emphasis on going green (but not that green).

Face it, when you think of Bob Marley you think of one thing. We’ll call it “herb” here. Herb is green and so is Marley’s music. What better way to listen to it than with “green” sound equipment? House of Marley is an audio product retailer “built on the principles of superior quality, sustainability and a commitment to charitable causes… driven to enhance lives through great product experiences as well as using proceeds from product sales to support global reforestation through Project Marley.”

Each year, House of Marley makes a contribution to One Tree Planted (OneTreePlanted.org). Since 2017, House of Marley has contributed to the planting of 148,000 trees. It doesn’t end there either. Each of their products are “crafted from mindfully sourced materials” such as bamboo, recycled fabric, aluminum, metals, non-toxic silicone, paper, plastic, pet, wood composite, leather, and organic cork and cotton to deliver the Marley “Signature Sound.”

Not only are the products carefully made, they sound great too—with each creation undergoing custom tuning to deliver the most realistic and powerful performance. So, to all those musicians out there, go green this spring in honor of Mr. Marley!
