Can You Match the Mission Statement to the Brand?

Can You Match the Mission Statement to the Brand?

On episode 86 of the Speaking Human podcast, we played a little game called “Match the Mission”. Here’s how it worked: One person read a mission statement from a well-known organization (without saying the name) and the other person had to guess the business or nonprofit behind it.

It’s a pretty simple game—and also a highly addictive one. We’re predicting “Match the Mission” will soon be sweeping the nation. Professionals will be playing it in boardrooms. Friends will be playing it in cafes. Kids will be playing it on playgrounds. Our advice to you: Get on board early.

To help you get started, here are 15 mission statements from major brands. Can you guess the organization behind each of them? Test yourself and then click/tap to reveal the answers. After you’ve finished, feel free to quiz your friends.
