Movember.com is committed to ending the stigma of male mental health. This September, Movember and the Ad Council made a video series urging men to be open about their mental health for its Man of More Words campaign. In the series, men speak candidly about their experiences and advise others to do the same. “Many men throughout the country suffer in silence, in large part due to social and cultural pressures and outdated stereotypes of what it is to be a man, [and] we have to change that,” said Mark Hedstrom, executive director of Movember U.S. The campaign urges men to visit Movember.com to join the conversation.
