Wendy’s Encourages Fans to Eat Their Fill This March Madness
March Madness is in full swing. So is Lent. People are rooting for their teams and swearing off vices, but for those giving up fast food, you might want to wait. Wendy’s is offering mouth-watering promotions this March Madness.
For the third year in a row, Wendy’s is the Official Hamburger of the NCAA. As upperclassman of this event, they know the tournament can be tough, so they’re offering to fill that hole in fan’s stomachs when their team loses during the big dance. Beginning March 11 and running through April 7, the fast-food chain is launching the “Take Your Shot” promotion—which offers fans a chance to win a trip to the 2020 NCAA Men’s Final Four.
Customers who purchase a cold, large drink can win instant free food, $5 in Wendy’s mobile app credits, or a trip to Atlanta, Georgia, for the Final Four in 2020. Rules, prizes, and full details are listed at WendysTakeYourShot.com. Wendy’s is encouraging fans to check it out and, as the dance progresses, they will announce new mobile offers. “We’re kicking it up a notch and offering fans more value than ever before,” said Wendy’s Exec. VP, Chief Concept Marketing Officer Kurt Kane, in a statement. “With plenty of prizes and promotions, Wendy’s is keeping fans fueled all tournament long.”
Wendy’s can even recommend what drink to order. It is partnering with Coca-Cola and its new Orange Vanilla Coke [with Zero Sugar], the first flavors added to the Coke brand in over a decade. Not only will your taste buds win, you might also hit a buzzer beater in prizes!
