This is the philosophy behind popcorn-brand Butterkist’s latest guerilla marketing campaign in the United Kingdom. Digital billboards have been placed across the country, displaying massive bags of Butterkist popcorn spinning in a circle.

Imagine, you’re walking into the subway to take a tram to a nearby restaurant, and there it is—a microwave, twice your size, with popcorn! Forget the restaurant, you have to get home. Continually being top-of-mind with your audience is essential, especially for commodity items like popcorn. That makes this tactic perfect for the brand, who can probably claim the best movie snack in the world.
