Mark Hamill Clowns Around at Jack in the Box

Mark Hamill is known for his role as Luke Skywalker and the son of Darth Vader (both the same role and clearly not the only character he’s portrayed). But did you know he also played a clown at a Jack in the box drive thru when he was just a teenager? It’s true. And that little-known fact prompted the fast food franchise to ask the actor back to surprise customers at one of their drive thru locations.

In the ad spot, the actor playfully disguises his voice while Jack in the Box customers place orders through their speaker system. The best part of this effort is when the drive thru customers find out that Mark Hamill is the one serving them their fast food at the window. It’s a great example of using a celebrity to promote a brand—especially if that famous person also once worked for the brand.
