Vegans can have a complicated relationship with Thanksgiving. Between turkeys, pies, and cheese galore, they can oftentimes find themselves starved for options. Beyond that, they can be faced with questions about their diet from family members during the holiday. As you can imagine, the stress can start to build. That is why Oatly has stepped forward to support all of our vegan friends out there.

Oatly organized a group of supportive individuals to lend a hand with “The Oatly Emotional Support Hotline for Plant-Based Eaters” (or TOESHPBE, for short). The hotline provides a variety of services for any caller, ranging from a motivational locker room speech, to positive affirmations, to an emotional punching bag that you can yell at for 30 seconds straight. This activation serves to strengthen the bond between Oatly and their primary audience, demonstrating understanding and support for those who may need a friend. So if you’re a vegan who is dreading turkey day, remember that there is a number to call whenever you are in need.
